Former Chelsea manager determined to haunt them next summer

Chelsea won’t be forgetting the name anytime soon.
As far as Chelsea fans are concerned, managers seem to come and go. In recent years, they’ve had more managers than I’ve had hot dinners.
Antonio Conte is a manager that fans will remember for winning the Premier League title in his first season in charge, and completely revolutionising the way Chelsea play football, with many Premier League teams still implementing some of the philosophies he instilled in English football.
The Italian boss can be thanked for building the foundations for the Blues to this day, although they have somewhat failed to live up to the expectation he set. He signed many great players during his time and turned them into stars, including not least N’Golo Kante.

The French midfielder went on to win successive Premier League titles with two different clubs after he signed from Leicester City. Being deployed as a defensive destroyer, he reached world-class levels, although it’s said that Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard failed to make the most of his talents.
That said, you can understand why Conte would hold sentimental value over the French midfielder. Now managing in the Serie A with Inter Milan, Conte wishes to sign Kante again. According to a report from Canal (via the Sun), Chelsea fear that Conte will persist with trying to sign him even into next summer.
As far as the Blues are concerned, they need to keep hold of Kante. While they have made some midfield signings and they have young players coming through the ranks, there aren’t many better than Kante. Even when he is being misused, he is still one of Chelsea’s better options. If Lampard can get the best out of him, then Chelsea will surely succeed if their history is anything to go by.
Do you think Chelsea will manage to keep N’Golo Kante next summer?
