The international break is perfect for these 3 Arsenal players.

Ah, that time has come. The Premier League will undergo a short break as international football will take the forefront. Some teams love it, others hate it; it all depends on the form you’re going through, I suppose.

One thing’s for sure, Arsenal fans won’t mind taking a break from football, as they lost out in embarrassing fashion to Aston Villa last weekend. The cracks have been showing for some time, but these three players will aim to fix that in the coming weeks…

3. Willian

Nobody can deny this. Willian has been shocking in the last couple of weeks. In fact, I can’t remember a single good performance from the Brazilian since his debut, in which he picked up two assists.

I suppose it was always bound to take him time to settle into his new life and, let’s not forget, he was a free signing after all. But it’s frustrating for Arsenal fans and Mikel Arteta because they know Willian is capable of so much more than he’s showing in recent weeks.

His performances just seem so lethargic and he is not offering much in the final third, which is absurd for a player of his energy and tenacity. He needs to reflect on his performances this international break, and a first goal upon his return will do him the world of good.
