Hector Bellerin – 7/10

Bellerin showed a few good touches of the ball, although there were also times that he was needlessly dispossessed. All in all, Bellerin shouldn’t feel too hard on himself after that match.

His most notable input was a through ball to the substitute Bukayo Saka which could have won the game for Arsenal if the English forward had better decision making.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 6/10

He took a few chances but in the end, his defensive display paid off. He was solid for the most part and although he did leave Patrick Bamford lurking sometimes, he led his troops to a clean sheet so his performance should be celebrated.

Rob Holding – 6/10

Again, you can’t really fault Holding for his display. He has been brought in to replace David Luiz and has done a great job of it, looking just as comfortable when partnered with Gabriel. He put in a good few duels against Leeds and helped the Gunners to keep the clean sheet.

Kieran Tierney – 6.5/10

Tierney showed plenty of passion throughout the ninety minutes and his energy levels didn’t seem to drop once. If everyone on the pitch had Tierney’s enthusiasm, then Arsenal would have won this game.

All in all, the defenders can walk into the tunnel with their heads held high. It’s the others that let them down.
