Granit Xhaka

Granit Xhaka showed a great level of leadership in the aftermath of the draw to Leeds United. He was active on social media to show support and solidarity to his teammates, as he often does. Xhaka has his critics, but nobody can doubt his ability to be a leader, both on and off the pitch.

As the Gunners look to pick up some form before the North London derby next weekend, they will turn to Xhaka to lead them. He will rally the messages given by Mikel Arteta on the sidelines, while carrying out his own role of dictating the play in the midfield.

Joe Willock

Willock was somewhat thrown in the deep end with no direction against Leeds United but Arteta will avoid this mistake this time. Willock will have the task of helping out Xhaka in the defensive third while bringing the ball forward at his own leisure. If you’d like, Willock will act as the box-to-box midfielder.

Dani Ceballos

Due to Partey’s doubt, I assume Ceballos will retain his place in the starting XI. He may not have been the best against Leeds, but I can only name a handful of players that were actually good in that one. Ceballos will look to bounce back in this game, and I’m certain he will.

His role will be to provide support to the frontline and move the Gunners forward with his fine display of footwork.
