Manchester United host the Parisians this time round.

After their iconic round in the reverse fixture, when Marcus Rashford was the hero for Manchester United in Paris, they will hope for some similar fortune at home. Having only just edged past Southampton, Ole Gunnar Solskajaer will have learned a lot about his side.

It’s no secret that PSG are a completely different kettle of fish to Southampton, so United will need a different game plan. And they can’t afford to go down early on again. PSG have an attack that can punish you.

That said, Ole will have a strong XI in mind as he prepares to take on the French giants. Here is the team that I expect Manchester United to go for in this important Champions League group stage fixture…

Dean Henderson

This would be a bold call to make, for sure. Having the England international play on such a big occasion would do wonders for his confidence, but it all comes down to whether Solskjaer trusts him enough.

Henderson will be helped by the knock that David de Gea picked up against the Saints. While it’s yet to be seen what the extent of this injury is, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for Ole to go for Henderson. After all, he is a pretty exceptional backup to have and he is calling for more game time.
