Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham Hotspur: Arteta NEEDS three points
By Kian Long
Arsenal will be without their summer signing Thomas Partey, as he is still recovering from an injury which has seen him side-lined for the last few weeks.
Dani Ceballos
Dani Ceballos will provide the attacking threat to Arsenal. Although he is a Real Madrid boy at heart, he has integrated into the Arsenal culture well so he will be fired up for this game and will want to do all he can to help the attackers get on the scoresheet.
Granit Xhaka
Xhaka gets his fair share of critics but he is certainly a leader. He is the captain, and even when he’s not wearing the armband, his leadership qualities are second to none. He will work hard to organise his midfield partners and shout at them when they are out of place. Dictation of play will be his role so you can be assured he will be spraying passes left, right and centre.
The midfield for Arsenal will need to be strong and the two must communicate with each other. When Ceballos is going forward, Xhaka must be wary of any oncoming pressure. This is important all times, but mostly against Spurs since they like to play through the middle and play patiently this way.
