Reiss Nelson

Nelson should get the nod over Willian. I have been saying this for weeks, Willian is, quite simply, pants. Or at least he has been since his debut performance.

Nelson, on the other hand, brings plenty of stardom to the XI. His silky footwork makes him the favourable option despite his age. There aren’t many players in the squad that can take on the Tottenham full-backs with confidence, but Nelson is certainly one of them. He needs to start.

Bukayo Saka

More from Arsenal FC

Bukayo Saka has been Arsenal’s diamond in the rough this season. He is one of only a handful of players that put in consistently great performances and whenever he is in the XI, he never puts a foot wrong. His work on the ball to dribble past defenders and provide a killer cross will be crucial to the Gunners as they look to set up their two forwards.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Aubameyang is not in good form right now, but dropping him out of the team is never the right thing to do. Aubameyang is the kind of player who can switch on form just like that, and if there’s any team he would like to score against, it would be Tottenham. Having haunted the rivals many times already, the Gabon international will look to grab a goal or two.

Alexandre Lacazette

I am often Lacazette’s biggest critic but I can happily eat my words after his performance in Arsenal’s midweek game. Although it was against weakened opposition, the Frenchman put in a stellar man of the match performance as well as returning to scoring ways. He must continue this good form against Spurs.
