Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 4/10

Not the best performance from Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Especially in the first half, he was presented with a few defensive challenges that he looked threatened by. It’s not his usual display but he didn’t exactly make up for it in the final third either, with a few wayward passes. He’ll need to improve next week.

Harry Maguire – 6/10

There wasn’t really much for Maguire to do since the City attackers didn’t challenge him at all. He had some opportunities from corners to attack the opposition, but overall, it was a boring day at the office for him. Still, he will take it; a clean sheet in a derby is a rarity for a defender.

Victor Lindelof – 6/10

Like Maguire, Lindelof won’t be happy with a draw, but he wasn’t at fault for it. He kept a clean sheet, and his positioning was good to resolve any oncoming City pressure (I must emphasise the “any” – as a neutral, I wish there was some!)

Luke Shaw – 6/10

There were times in the second half, notably when City were pressing high, that Shaw would use this time to his leisure. Although this wasn’t the entire tale of his game, it was frustrating to see even as a neutral.

Elsewhere, the English full-back was rather resilient and did good at blocking City crosses into the box, although there weren’t many.
