Paul Pogba – 6/10

Pogba’s communication with Bruno Fernandes was good and it allowed the two of them to interchange positions; whenever Bruno was forward, Pogba stayed back and the same vice versa. He played a few good through balls, although he didn’t threaten the goal as much as he would have liked.

Scott McTominay – 6/10

McTominay did what McTominay does best; he sat deep in the midfield and would look to protect his backline. Although, he didn’t have much to protect them against since City didn’t commit nearly as many men forward as one might assume they would have.

Fred – 6/10

Like his midfield counterparts, it was a pretty average performance from Fred. He had a few opportunities to dribble with the ball and he barely put a foot wrong, but annoyingly so, he barely put a foot right, either. Still, he wasn’t the only player that could have done better.
