HOUSSEM AOUAR
The second player that Arteta has demanded the board to sign, as per Team Talk, is Houssem Aouar from Lyon. This should come as no surprise to fans, as they were linked with the French midfielder in the summer transfer window, to no avail.
Aouar is much like the player Aaron Ramsey once was at Arsenal; one of the box-to-box mould. He has great technical ability and is often the one to dribble the ball forward for Lyon. His progressive style of play would complement the new signing Thomas Partey well, and it could add a much needed attacking dynamic to Arsenal’s philosophy, one that could be compard to that shown by Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
