Chelsea: 3 players Frank Lampard must sell this January
By Kian Long
OLIVIER GIROUD
This one is more for tactical reasons, as opposed to Olivier Giroud‘s ability. He is a great striker and he’s proven time and time again to be a valuable asset to the Chelsea squad. However, there is little to no room for him, which is unfair for a striker of his standard.
With the EUROs coming up this summer, which could be one of the last of his international career, Giroud will want to do all he can to impress an already trustworthy Didier Deschamps that he is the man for the job. After all, he wants to go for that all-time France record.
If Chelsea can promise him game time of this level, then by all means they should keep him. However, with Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner above him in the pecking order, I highly doubt that’s possible.
Who do you think Chelsea should sell in January?
