This is by no means disastrous at this early stage of the season, but Frank Lampard will be hoping for more in the second half of the season. Luckily, the January transfer window is just a couple of weeks away, so here are three players the English manager should look into signing.

Of course, this deal looks to be the most likely. After Chelsea focused their efforts elsewhere in the summer, Declan Rice has been waiting on a move across London ever since. Do not be fooled though, as the young England international has only been improving in the first half of this season with West Ham United.
Football London report that Chelsea are being tipped to finally sign the versatile defender this January. So much so, the outlet is already predicting which shirt number he will wear.
