This one will be a much, much cheaper option than Declan Rice. David Alaba is out of contract at the end of this season, therefore, he is free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with clubs that take his fancy this January. This could also mean, though, that Bayern Munich will be more open to selling him at a cut-price deal, since it doesn’t look likely that he will agree to a new contract.
According to the Express, it is Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain that will compete for his signature. Therefore, there are some strong contenders for the Blues to fight off, but I’m certain if they can present the right intention, Alaba will favour a move to London.
