This transfer window is more important than ever for Arsenal
Arsenal fans rarely look to the transfer window with any real optimism, particularly since Stan Kroenke took charge of the club as majority shareholder. The American businessman just doesn’t seem to be invested in the club as much as he is his other ventures.
However, the fans will call upon optimism as their only hope with this January transfer window just weeks away now. But before they make any signings, there are some deadwood players that Mikel Arteta must dispose of. Here are three of them…
SEAD KOLASINAC
It just makes the most sense that Arsenal sell Sead Kolasinac this January. His only role in the squad is to be a backup player since there’s no chance he gets in ahead of Kieran Tierney on merit alone.
The Bosnia international has been on a steady decline for the last number of seasons and it’s time Arteta sells him, bringing in a new player to challenge Tierney, although it won’t be difficult to upgrade on Kolasinac.
