ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE
I feel like this one will be the most controversial of the three. Alexandre Lacazette is a terrific striker when he wants to be. However, the problem is that he rarely wants to be or at least it seems this way.
The French international does not get on the score sheet nearly as much as Arteta would like him to and, if anything, he just seems to be a liability when it comes to pleasing him in the matchday squad.
Selling Lacazette and reinvesting the funds into a midfielder like Houssem Aouar or Isco, two players which Arteta clearly likes the look of, makes the most sense in this transfer window. Lacazette would be a miss, for sure, but in the long run it’s the best thing to do.
