The Reds are considering selling their Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah is easily one of the best Liverpool forwards, but all of a sudden he is rumoured to be considering a move away from Anfield after recent issues.
According to Goal, the defending Premier League champions are ready to sell their superstar Mo Salah. It has also mentioned that the champions are considering cashing in on the Egyptian star.
Mo Salah’s former international team-mate Mohamed Aboutrika in his recent interview said:
“I called Salah about his situation at Liverpool and he is upset, but that would never affect his performance on the field,
“I know that Salah is not happy in Liverpool, he told me the reasons why he is not happy but they are secrets and I cannot talk about it in public. One of the reasons that made Salah angry was that he was not the captain against Midtjylland.”
- Why would a player like Mohamed Salah consider moving away from Liverpool?
Liverpool FC signed Mo Salah for only £37 million in 2017, the fee paid for a player of his quality was a huge bargain signing for the Reds.
Mo Salah was an entertaining player in the Serie A. The Egyptian winger was given a lot of playing time by both AS Roma and Fiorentina unlike his forgettable days with Chelsea FC.
Jurgen Klopp saw him as the perfect player to join a gegenpressing counter attacking football team like Liverpool. The German helped Mo Salah in bringing the best out of him as a forward.
It is impossible for the 28 year-old superstar to even consider leaving the champions of England only because of not getting the captaincy duties.
Liverpool are aware of the importance of Mo Salah and his impact that he had on and off the pitch ever since he joined the Jurgen Klopp’s building dynasty of Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah is off to a flying start in the 2020-2021 English Premier League season, but the team has proven that he’ll not be heavily relied since currently injured Diogo Jota had kicked off to a very stunning start to his new career at Anfield.
Roberto Firmino has pounced on the controversial media rumours about him not playing good enough by proving them wrong after he scored the last minute winning goal against the title contenders Tottenham Hotspur and a brace in a 0-7 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Should Liverpool really consider cashing in on Mo Salah (or) consider keeping him at the club and retire him as one of the club legends of all time?
