Arsenal beat Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium last night.

For once, it was the Gunners that came out of yesterday with a smile on their faces. You would not think that this was the team many were joking about being relegated. Arsenal played with tenacity against their London rivals Chelsea, and once again proved that even in times of hardship, London will always be red.

Here are three players that were pivotal to getting the win for Arsenal…

BERND LENO

It probably goes without saying, but Bernd Leno was splendid against Chelsea. It was his penalty save, I feel, that was key to securing the three points for Mikel Arteta‘s men. It came at a time when Chelsea were probing and it looked inevitable that Arsenal would crumble, but it was the German that stepped up with a fine penalty save to deny Jorginho.

Leno is always the first name on the team sheet, and you can see why. Without him, Arsenal would be in a much worse position.
