Oh boy, I think it’s certain that Arteta has found his partnership for the left-hand side. Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Martinelli worked together expertly last night and it was Tierney that won the first penalty for the Gunners.
Arsenal barely saw anything of Chelsea’s full-backs and that’s because they were pinned back in their own half. They do say that attack is the best form of defence and Arsenal proved that old saying last night.
Tierney is never one to shy away from being outspoken on the club’s position. This is because he is a serial winner and he wants what’s best for the club and the supporters. He wore his heart on his sleeve last night and was pivotal to getting the win for the Gunners.
