Arsenal have had to rely on these players the most.

As 2020 draws to a close, it’s certainly a time of reflection for Arsenal. They have had a year of two halves, when you think about it. From the highs of winning the FA Cup to the lows of consistent poor performances in the Premier League. Here are three players that made 2020 more bearable for the Gunners.

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG

While he may not be hitting the heights he is accustomed to this season, the Gabon international is one of the reasons why Arsenal lifted silverware this season. Two goals against Manchester City in the semifinal and a repetition of that in the final against Chelsea sees Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the captain of Arsenal.

Yes, he does need to get back on the scoresheet, but this will certainly come. A player of his ability is never out for long. 2020 was a great year for him.
