2. A great partnership with this man
Over the last few seasons they’ve spent together, under three different managers, Granit Xhaka dn Mohamed Elneny have formed a blooming partnership. It might not have been the best at first, but it’s been a common feature in Arteta’s midfield this season.
The two just seem to understand each other well. When one pushes forward, the other stays back and the same vice versa. They are always covering each other and their best traits complement each other well to form a nice balanced midfield. Elneny is at his best when he’s playing alongside Xhaka, which is a good thing considering Xhaka is a sure starter.
