It’s never been more important for Arsenal to succeed in the FA Cup.

The Premier League now looks to be a distant memory, as Arsenal won’t compete for silverware in this competition, although they will still push for a high finish. They have made progress in the Europa League and are out of the Carabao Cup, so the FA Cup may be Arteta’s best shot again this season.

They face a trip to St James Park this Saturday to play Newcastle United. Here’s the XI the Gunners should go for…

RUNAR ALEX RUNARSSON

This name divides opinion among Arsenal fans. He wasn’t the best against Manchester City but he deserves to be given another chance, with Newcastle being significantly easier opposition. Leno is the main man, of course, but Runar Alex Runarsson will get the nod in this match.
