3. Alexandre Lacazette

Despite him being the only person to come close to scoring via a free kick, Alexandre Lacazette barely saw the ball last night. It’s clear that he misses his strike partner Aubameyang, but this is no excuse. The best strikers don’t rely on others in order to shine.

Lacazette is like this. He oftentimes goes through spells of great form and then goes through dry patches. While he is not known only for his ability to score goals and he can also be a creator, last night he was neither. A bad day at the office for the Frenchman, who was rightfully replaced by Nketiah towards the end of the match.
