Arsenal were going through a period of great form in the Premier League as they were unbeaten for consecutive games. However, the loss against Wolves leaves them subject to low confidence. Here’s how Mikel Arteta must lineup against Aston Villa to give his side the best chance of three points.

Arsenal’s goalkeeper Mathew Ryan

It’s not the most ideal situation for Mathew Ryan to get his debut in an Arsenal shirt. He would rather be selected naturally, but the red card shown to Leno in the last match may leave Arteta with no other choice.

Still, we know just how capable Mathew Ryan is of putting in a great display between the sticks, so his debut could serve him well. He’s a better option than Runarrson if fully fit, as the alternative is lacking in confidence.
