3. Easiest route back into the Champions League

If the Gunners want to attract the very best of the best, then they need to be playing in the prestigious Champions League competition. Under Arsene Wenger, this never seemed to be a problem but as the competition has grown and the Gunners have fallen behind, this is becoming increasingly harder to achieve.

More teams such as Leicester and Everton are challenging for European places nowadays, which means Arsenal’s easiest route would be to build up from the bottom. Being in the Europa League gives them a chance to reach the Champions League next season for the winners in this competition can play amongst the best of the best.
