If I want to see a Premier League showdown between Manchester United and Manchester City, I turn on my TV and can find it within minutes. If I want to find out the behind-the-scenes story of the Tottenham squad under José Mourinho I go to Amazon Prime and watch the fascinating in-depth documentary All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur.

But what happens when I want to watch Manchester City defender Lucy Bronze (Best FIFA Women’s Player) and Manchester United forward Christen Press (USWNT) battle it out in the WSL? Or perhaps I’d like to know a little more about the story behind the player as Alex Morgan prepared to make her Tottenham debut after a year away from the game.

Just Women’s Sports and ATA Football bring you the coverage you need.

More from Soccer

Thanks to sports media company Just Women’s Sports and women’s football company ATA Football, these games and player’s stories are becoming more and more accessible.

Women’s soccer leagues around the world are thriving and deserve to be showcased. Together, Just Women’s Sports and ATA Football have the unique ability to shine the light where it’s needed.

Just Women’s Sports founder, Haley Rosen, and Just Women’s Sports podcast host, Kelley O’Hara, are no strangers to the world of women’s soccer. Both were former Stanford teammates of mine and continued on to play at the professional level. As a Hermann Trophy winner, two-time FIFA World Cup Champion, and Olympic gold medalist, Kelley O’Hara is a major contributor to the unbelievable quality in the women’s game today.

ATA Football’s founders include former Sky executive and Chief Strategy Officer at FUBO TV, Hannah Brown, and Princeton standout and professional soccer player, Esmeralda Negron, who would later rejoin her alma mater as an assistant coach. With Negron’s background in women’s soccer and Brown’s sports media expertise, both women are wonderfully suited to promote women’s soccer by providing live and on-demand matches from some of the world’s best leagues including England’s WSL and France’s D1 Arkema.

Both Just Women’s Sports and ATA Football are still in their early stages as companies having only just launched last year in 2020. However, in the short time they’ve been around, both have done an excellent job elevating women’s soccer and promoting its incredible athletes.

With highlights and game footage from ATA Football and Just Women’s Sports’ Haley Kopmeyer and Beast Mode Soccer’s David Copeland-Smith as hosts, the companies are launching The Soccer Show on YouTube in which Kopmeyer and Copeland-Smith provide their entertaining commentary and opinions on the WSL’s latest games.

It’s an exciting time in women’s soccer as the outstanding athletes who pour their heart and soul into the sport begin to get the coverage they deserve. Onwards and upwards!
