Arsenal: 3 players that must start against Liverpool to continue good form
By Kian Long
#2 KIERAN TIERNEY
Kieran Tierney is by far and away Arsenal’s most consistent defender, so he is always the first name on the team sheet. And rightly so.
The Scotsman who is full of passion thrives in situations like this. On the big occasions, you often look to the flashy players to come up with the goods. But this is not to underestimate Tierney’s role. He may focus on the nitty-gritty tasks, but these tasks need to be carried out.
Let’s hope he’ll be given the same attacking freedom he was given against Tottenham, although Klopp doesn’t sit back as much as the boring Mourinho.
