Ali Riley, Toni Pressley launch ‘Girls Gone Veg’ merch line
Ali Riley and Toni Pressley continue to enjoy plenty of success on the soccer field as they tear up the NWSL this season with the Orlando Pride. May and June have been kind to them in more ways than one however.
Girls Gone Veg wraps up Season 1
A little lime zest here, a little vegan mayo there, a few questionable golf swings, and some impressive cherry tomato soccer juggles have led to a successful first season of Ali and Toni’s vegan cooking show, Girls Gone Veg.

Launched back in May on the I AM ATHLETE YouTube channel, the show has featured an array of entertaining guests from Brazilian soccer legend Marta (juggler of aforementioned cherry tomato) to World Long Drive champion Maurice Allen. Some guests arrive skeptical of the vegan food they’re asked to try, others embrace what lies before them, and all agree that the end result is a dish worth having again.
There are laughs as they ask Chef Nancie (I AM ATHLETE’s resident chef) the impossible question … Beyoncé or Rihanna. There are tears as Marta details the sacrifices she’s had to make to become the best soccer player in the world. There is art combined with cooking, some refreshing cocktails, and a lot of delicious vegan recipes you now have at your disposal.
On top of their successful cooking show, these Orlando Pride teammates have just launched a new merchandise line so you can rep Girls Gone Veg wherever you go. It’s a catchy, charming show title, so who wouldn’t want it on a sweatshirt (or a mug, cropped hoodie, t-shirt, twill hat, or canvas tote bag)?
Ali and Toni have much to celebrate, and for the fans who have helped their show succeed, they are offering a thank you in the form of a giveaway through June 28th on their Instagram pages. And for those who haven’t watched their show yet, 1) why not? 2) I’ve saved you the trouble of searching for it. Click Here.
