Real Madrid set to sign Eduardo Camavinga
Real Madrid complete the signing of highly-coveted midfielder
Real Madrid has beaten out the likes of Manchester United in the race to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
It may not have been the Frenchman the club were aiming for but it is a highly rated player nonetheless.

According to ESPN, Rennes have accepted an offer from the Spanish giants worth €30 million with Camavinga set to sign a five-year deal.
The 18-year-old had one year left on his current deal and Rennes did not want to take the risk of losing him on a free next season.
Camavinga had been one of the most sought after players as in addition to Madrid and Manchester United, Borrussia Dortmund, PSG, Liverpool and Chelsea were also rumored to be interested in him.
The player joins a Madrid side who could use some reinforcement in midfield. Despite counting on Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić, they are both getting on in age. Kross is out injured at the moment with no timeline for his return.
All things considered, Real Madrid actually got a bargain for Camavinga. He was being linked with a move to Madrid, and other clubs, last season with a potential transfer fee two to three times what he ended up going for.
It may have taken one more season but Los Blancos got their man. If Camavinga continues to develop as everyone hopes, he is going to be a mainstay in the Madrid midfield for years to come.
