Tottenham star set to leave the club in January transfer window

Tottenham’s star midfielder Dele Alli is set to leave the club and as he’s been given the green light to make a move in the January transfer window.
The North London giants may end up selling Alli for a cheap price as he has failed to make an impact and his form is not as attractive as it once was under the management of Mauricio Pochettino.
The 25-year-old midfielder’s form has dipped since and the Englishman has unfortunately gone from being one of the most eye-catching midfield sensations to a deadwood squad player in recent years.
According to The Telegraph, Alli is set to leave Tottenham next month after he was given permission to leave the club.
Alli has only started in five league matches during the 2021/2022 Premier League season. Noticeably, he has failed to earn another start under Antonio Conte – the new Spurs manager.
Since Conte’s arrival, the midfielder is nowhere to be seen and the Italian coach is now willing to get rid of the player by selling him after observing his fall from grace.
It is clear that Pochettino will not come back to London anytime soon. With Antonio Conte at the helm, the Spurs star could consider a career revival by joining Paris Saint-Germain, but with no transfer rumors linking him with a club like PSG, it is hard to see him earning himself a big club move just yet.
Alli might consider making a move to Newcastle United. Despite being in the relegation battle this season, the Magpies are presumably now in safe hands long term with their new ownership.
The forgotten midfielder has not featured for England since the 2019 Nations League finals. His career has been blighted by injuries which have contributed to his patchy form. His last appearance for his country was against Switzerland.
Should Dele Alli leave Tottenham during the winter transfer window?
