Sadio Mane has now virtually won everything he can with Liverpool, having helped them win the FA Cup and Carabao Cup titles this season. The 30-year-old is performing at an elite level this season, having won the titles with Liverpool as well as the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal and qualifying for the World Cup with his national team.

Mane is gunning for a prestigious Ballon d’Or that can put a permanent stamp to ensure that his career is remembered as iconic. The Senegalese forward has just one year remaining on his Liverpool contract and is ready to leave in the summer (as per Goal).

He wants to play somewhere else and challenge himself in another environment after winning everything with Liverpool. If he really pushes for a summer transfer, with just one year on his contract, Jurgen Klopp’s side might have to cash in on him.

So which club might he join? Here we look at 3 potential options.

Sadio Mane as Mbappe’s replacement for Real Madrid

Now that they’ve been rejected by Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid will be scampering for alternatives. Los Blancos realize they need another world-class forward to complete their attacking line and get them running on all cylinders next season.

Mane apparently dreams of playing for Real Madrid (as per Goal). He also knows his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or with Madrid would be higher than at Liverpool, knowing how many past winners have played for Los Blancos. The 30-year-old probably doesn’t fit the ideal age bracket for signings for the Spanish giants, but he could make an immediate impact at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Sadio has 22 goals this season and has a knack for scoring in the biggest of games. He recently became the highest-scoring African player in the Champions League knockout stages, having scored 15 clutch goals in the elite competition’s most important matches.

Alongside Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr, Mane could help Madrid’s front-line become a living nightmare. His versatility and adaptability would allow him to blend into Carlo Ancelotti’s side with ease and if Real are ready to spend some big bucks in the summer, the Senegalese might be the player to transform their side immensely next season.

Bayern Munich to replace Lewandowski with Mane?

After Robert Lewandowski publicly voiced his desire to leave Bayern Munich in the summer, that could cause some changes at the club. Bayern might be in the market for a new forward and can make a play for Mane, knowing how well he’s shown himself to operate as a centre-forward this season for Liverpool.

Indeed, Mane has 9 goals in 12 appearances as a centre-forward this season. This means he could be a like-for-like replacement for Lewandowski. Knowing his goal-scoring ability, Mane could be a perfect fit for the Bundesliga and even produce the kind of numbers Lewandowski has. The German giants have even held talks with Mane (as per Sky Sports) over a potential move.

Sadio’s Champions League experience and winning mentality can give a huge boost to Bayern’s hopes of winning it next season. If they’re able to pay Mane’s €80m value (as per Transfermarkt), the German giants could steal him away from Liverpool and reconstruct their attack for the post-Lewandowski years.

PSG as a landing spot?

While PSG might’ve been successful in keeping Mbappe, it doesn’t mean they’ll sit idle in the summer transfer window. The Ligue 1 giants will look to strengthen their squad, including the centre-forward role. With Mauro Icardi failing to impress, PSG could seek a move for Mane.

The French side has registered an interest in Mane and are “leading the race” to sign him (as per SportBild) in the summer. Mane can complete a world-class attacking line alongside the likes of Mbappe, Leo Messi and Neymar to help PSG dominate in Europe.

After having such a great record in big Champions League games, Mane can help PSG improve their European record. He is capable of scoring the key big-game goals and playing a bigger part in ensuring they break their European slump – if the French side makes a big-money move for him in the summer.
