Looking beyond economic and legal problems, FC Barcelona continues to design its transfer strategy.

The Catalan team led by Xavi Hernandez is aware that in order to continue competing in LaLiga next year, as well as to finally defeat their ghosts in Europe, they need to create a balanced and competitive squad.

In this sense, Barça intends to be productive in the next transfer window. Main objectives are found in the Premier League. In fact, according to information from Mundo Deportivo, the blaugranas have plans to sign three Manchester City players.

It is an open secret that FC Barcelona has been following Bernardo Silva for some time with the aim of reinforcing their midfield. The Portuguese is reportedly not indifferent to the idea of joining the Camp Nou.

But Silva, as mentioned above, is not the only Citizen footballer tracked by Barça sports management. Still, according to information from the aforementioned media, Aymeric Laporte is also being watched by the Catalan club.

Barcelona seeks to sign luxury substitute for midfield

In addition, aware of the physical situation of Pedri, who unfortunately tends to get injured frequently, Barcelona aims to find a luxury substitute for the young Spaniard, despite interesting elements already on hand, such as Franck Kessie and Pablo Torre.

Barça also has Ilkay Gundogan in their sights who, like Bernardo Silva, will be out of contract at the end of this season. That’s two good opportunities given the economic situation at Barcelona.

The German midfielder has played 23 games in the Premier League this season with Manchester City, starting 19 of them. That’s a strong hint that Pep Guardiola still considers him a key player.

It remains to be seen what the reality of the Catalan team will be next season, considering the legal problems they face after being denounced for corruption by the Spanish Prosecutor’s Office.
