Pochettino not interested in having Neymar at the Bridge

Earlier this year, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was willing to discuss the possibility of adding Neymar from PSG. However, Blues manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to have dismissed this possibility.

Pochettino is more interested in focusing on young talent and doesn’t think Neymar’s style and fit would align with the culture the Argentine taskmaster is trying to implement at Chelsea, according to Nizaar Kinsella.

Despite the recent news of Nkunku’s injury, a setback that will keep him out for up to four months and has put pressure on the team to find a striker, Pochettino is not currently inclined to reunite with Neymar.

PSG accepting offers for the Brazilian super star

PSG has been on the lookout for potential offers for their Brazilian superstar, signaling a willingness to part ways. In contrast, Chelsea’s involvement in this pursuit has reached its conclusion, no longer being a contender in the race for the player.

The desire of Chelsea ownership to secure a marquee player for the team is evident, as demonstrated by Boehly’s previous endeavors to bring Ronaldo on board during the Tuchel and Potter eras.

Both PSG and Neymar himself have not explicitly voiced an intention to sever ties, yet an unspoken understanding seems to permeate between the two parties.

Reports from Nizaar Kinsella suggest that PSG is open to considering offers that span from £60 million to £70 million for the Brazilian player.

Neymar’s possible return to Barcelona

According to Fabrizio Romano, Neymar seems to be open to a move to his former club, FC Barcelona. However, the decision to take him in is yet to be decided by the internal members of the club although team president Joan Laporte appears keen on adding the Brazilian to the Barça locker room.
