Crystal Palace are unbeaten in four meetings with Burnley, winning six of their last 11 encounters, as well as four of their last eight trips to Turf Moor.
Burnley vs Crystal Palace preview
After a challenging week, can Crystal Palace get back to winning ways? On Sunday lunchtime, despite taking the lead through Jean-Philippe Mateta's retaken penalty, the Eagles were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United at Selhurst, conceding twice in nine second half minutes in South London. Before this, Oliver Glasner's side were unbeaten at home this season, and had collected seven points out of a possible nine in November, but have now sunk down to ninth place.

Meantime, in the Conference League, Palace were also beaten 2-1 by Strasbourg last Thursday, again taking the lead through Tyrick Mitchell in that one, but leaving Stade de la Meinau with nothing to show for their efforts. Currently 18th in the gigantic league table, the Eagles will need to win their final two fixtures against Shelbourne and then Kuopion Palloseura if they are going to gatecrash the top eight spots. Before then, they face back-to-back away games here and then at Craven Cottage on Saturday, very much favourites to leave Lancashire with all three points.
As for Burnley, victory would be priceless considering they kick off in the relegation zone. The Clarets' clash with Brentford on Saturday was a slow burner, only for chaos to ensue in the final nine minutes. The Bees broke the deadlock with a penalty, only for Zian Flemming to equalise from the spot soon after, but the visitors could not hold on for a precious point, conceding twice right at the end.

That means Scott Parker's side lost all four matches in November, also beaten by Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham, albeit they did enjoy back-to-back wins over Leeds and Wolves in October. Thus, despite being sat second bottom, Burnley are just one point from safety, so can they propel themselves out of the drop zone by claiming a crucial victory here?

Burnley team news
Scott Parker's lineup has been very settled in recent weeks, albeit he did tinker at the weekend.

Hannibal Mejbri and Lyle Foster came into the team, displacing Lesley Ugochukwu and Jaidon Anthony, but will the latter duo return? Kyle Walker will sit out Saturday's trip to St James' Park if cautioned.
Burnley predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace: (4-5-1): Dúbravka; Walker, Estève, Tuanzebe, Hartman; Cullen, Ugochukwu, Florentino Luís, Tchaouna, Anthony; Flemming.
Burnley player to watch vs Crystal Palace
Zian Flemming has come to the fore in recent weeks, scoring four goals in his last three Premier League away games, so can he now net at Turf Moor for the first time?
Crystal Palace team news
Key attacker Ismaïla Sarr is likely to miss out after sustaining an ankle injury against Manchester United. It was Eddie Nketiah who replaced him off the bench on Sunday, but Daichi Kamada is likely to be pushed forward here, with Jefferson Lerma or Will Hughes or both coming into midfield.

That aside, limited options means Oliver Glasner will continue not to tinker very much. Right-wing-back Daniel Muñoz will miss Sunday's clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage if cautioned.
Crystal Palace predicted lineup vs Burnley: (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Richards, Guéhi, Lacroix; Muñoz, Lerma, Hughes, Mitchell; Yéremy, Kamada, Mateta.
Crystal Palace player to watch vs Burnley
Jean-Philippe Mateta scored his ninth of the season from the penalty spot on Sunday. The French international scored the last time these two clubs met, so can he repeat that feat here?
Burnley vs Crystal Palace prediction
We are backing Crystal Palace for a fairly comfortable victory at Turf Moor, the Eagles likely to be simply too strong for a Burnley side likely destined for the drop: Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace.
