England have won all seven previous meetings with Andorra, scoring 26 goals and conceding zero. Of all 41 nations England have met seven or more times, they only boast a 100% record against five of them, with Andorra the only member of the group to never score against the Three Lions.

England vs Andorra preview

After a June double-header that didn't exactly go to plan, will England move three points closer to securing World Cup qualification? Back in the summer, the Three Lions battled to a very boring 1-0 victory over Andorra in Barcelona; Harry Kane the only scorer shortly after half time. This maintains Thomas Tuchel's team's 100% record in Group K, having also swatted aside Albania 2-0 and Latvia 3-0, both at Wembley back in March.

However, there were concerning signs during England's last outing, beating 3-1 by Senegal in a friendly at the City Ground, putting in a very unimpressive display. Nevertheless, it was only a friendly, but the Three Lions will face, by some distance, their toughest test of the Tuchel-era on Tuesday, when they travel to Belgrade to face Serbia at the Marakana. Before then, England will return to Villa Park for the first time since 2005, unbeaten in six matches at the home of Aston Villa, dating back 103 years, set to extend that streak by steamrollering Andorra on Saturday evening.

As for the visitors, they are the quintessential international football minnows. The Tricolours have lost all four matches they've played in this campaign so far, conceding eight goals and scoring none, most recently beaten 3-0 by Serbia in Leskovac. This extends their winless streak in competitive matches to 19, their last win coming over Liechtenstein three years ago, while they last won a qualifier back in October 2021, defeating San Marino. Overall, Andorra have only ever won seven of 158 competitive internationals since their first in 1996, so they're unlikely to put up much of a fight in Birmingham.

England team news

Thomas Tuchel is without John Stones, Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka due to injury, while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Phil Foden are among the big names not called up.

Jarell Quansah, Djed Spence and Elliot Anderson are hoping to make their international debuts, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek could earn his first cap since November 2018 following a recall. The home crowd will be hoping to see Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins, while Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Jarrod Bowen and Anthony Gordon are also exciting attacking options, to name a few.

England predicted lineup vs Andorra: (4-3-3): Pickford; James, Konsa, Guéhi, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Eze, Gibbs-White; Madueke, Rashford, Kane.

England player to watch vs Andorra

Harry Kane has taken his tally to 73 international goals, netting in all four England matches in 2025 so far. Of this tally, 44 have been scored in European qualifiers, so you wouldn't back against him scoring at Villa Park, something he did five times for Spurs, including his first-ever Premier League goal.

Andorra team news

Koldo Álvarez is the longest-serving manager in global men's international football, despite having won just 11 of his 131 matches in charge of Andorra, appointed back in February 2010.

Captain Marc Pujol is 43 years old started their home defeat to Latvia in March, despite his advancing years, so could become the oldest player to face England for 105 years. In 33 caps, goalkeeper Iker Álvarez has kept six clean sheets and conceded 53 goals, so should be ready for any busy evening.

Andorra predicted lineup vs England: (5-4-1): Álvarez; Borra, Llovera, García, Olivera, San Nicolás; Rebés, Babot, Rodrigo, Cervós; Fernández.

Andorra player to watch vs England

Ricard Fernández, known as Cucu, has two international goals to his name, most recently on target against South Africa in Annaba in March 2024, so could he become the first Andorran to score against England?

England vs Andorra prediction

As already outlined, we are forecasting a very routine England victory at Villa Park. They're yet to concede in Group K, winning every game, records that will continue: England 5-0 Andorra.
