One of the Premier League's biggest personalities in recent years recently announced his departure from Leicester, with Jamie Vardy ending his legendary spell at Leicester after the club was relegated this season. The Foxes' most iconic name is unlikely to play for another team in England due to his strong identification.

Considering the latest reports, the path for Jamie Vardy to finally play in the MLS seems very much on track at the moment because of the talks involving the New York Red Bulls. The New York side are very interested in signing him and talks seem to be going well. Even at an experienced age, Jaime Vardy's main strength is holding on to the ball, but he needs to adjust the quality of his short passes to remain competitive.

Jaime Vardy's desire to play in the MLS is so great that the Foxes legend is reportedly negotiating independently with a production company in the United States to turn his personal life and the rest of his professional career into a television series, attracting even more interest from any club looking for more international exposure.

MLS needs to keep an eye on Wolves' interest

At 38 and at Leicester since 2012, Jaime Vardy would be a great attraction for Major League Soccer and would certainly attract international attention to the US, but it's worth noting that there are Premier League clubs who are still interested in the experienced striker.

Wolverhampton (led by coach VĂtor Pereira) are one of the clubs most interested in having Vardy next season, and the likely departure of Matheus Cunha would make room for the arrival of a top scorer who needs few opportunities to score. That's why it's worth keeping a close eye on this negotiation.

Recently, the MLS was convinced that it would have Kevin De Bruyne in the coming months with four clubs interested in signing him, but the fact that the Belgian is closer to signing for Napoli shows that we need to be on our guard.
