With the aim of increasing its international presence and consolidating its importance among the world's biggest leagues, the MLS is continuing its efforts to extend its reach beyond the AppleTV platform with a new series of distribution agreements around the world. This week, the league confirmed the start of the weekly production Sunday Night Soccer, which will be shown on linear channels in international markets.
According to a report in the Sports Business Journal, MLS' new international media partners include the following channels and countries: SBS in Australia, SpoTV in Southeast Asia, Dubai TV in the Middle East, TV3 in Spain and Catalonia, Sportdigital in Germany, Charlton in Israel, GO in Malta and SkyK in Korea.
MLS expands partnership with UK platform

In another development that promises to increase MLS revenue in the international market, the league has expanded its relationship with Footballco, a UK-based company, which will be responsible for the content distribution partnership throughout the 2025 season.
Footballco is a global-branded digital media company with an exclusive focus on soccer, with GOAL.com as its main brand, one of the most relevant sites in soccer news coverage with its own headquarters in several countries. The agreement with Footballco will allow access to highlights of hundreds of MLS matches per season and will expand coverage of MLS events such as the All-Star Game, the Leagues Cup and the MLS Cup.
