In the last game before the big UEFA Champions League final next weekend, PSG will instead have the chance to add another title to their season. This Saturday, the last title in French soccer will be decided as Paris Saint-Germain face Reims in the French Cup final.

With the chance to win the treble, Luis Enrique's men have returned to their excellent form in the last two games and have picked up good wins against Montpellier and Auxerre, scoring seven goals in two games. And it's worth noting that the coach fielded a strong side last week in an effort to recapture the intensity of yesteryear.

PSG will go into this final with huge favoritism considering their dominance in this competition, where they reached the final seven times between 2015 and 2021, winning six trophies. After eliminations in the round of 16 in 2022 and 2023, the team under Luis Enrique won the title against Lyon in 2024.

It's certain that PSG will be going all out for the championship decider, even with the Champions League final scheduled for next weekend. The only question mark is the top scorer, with Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue fighting for a place in attack alongside Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Reims torn between historic finish and chance of relegation

Reims go into the final as the first team PSG have faced from the French top flight since their last-16 clash with Lens. However, considering the team's current form, it's safe to say that Reims will be on a similar level to Dunkerque, who had such a good season in the second division.

It's worth noting that Reims haven't won a title since Ligue 1 in 1961-62, and coach Samba Diawara could go down in history for good if they win the title, or only be marked by possible relegation in the final round of matches.

Unlike their rivals, Reims won't be able to count on Reda Khadra, Mohamed Daramy and Yaya Fofana due to injuries, while Teuma, who won the semi-final, hasn't played a single minute since the win over Cannes and is no longer playing for the team. Finally, Aurelio Buta and Junya Ito should return to the starting line-up.
