Milan started the fourth round of Italian Serie A with high expectations to take advantage of their strong favoritism over Udinese and build a beautiful away victory with a view to climbing the table. In addition to the 3-0 victory, the Rossoneri made USMNT fans happy with another excellent performance by Christian Pulisic in a competitive league in Europe.

Santi Giménez was the player who lacked inspiration and ended up preventing Milan from opening the scoring in the early minutes, as the Mexican had a huge chance in the 19th minute after a mistake by Udinese, but ended up shooting weakly at goalkeeper Sava. However, twenty minutes later, the USMNT star showed his teammate the right way to finish.

Christian Pulisic began his stellar night in the 39th minute after an excellent, well-worked move, as Estupiñan reached the back of the field and sent in a cross that ended up being saved by Sava, but the American was alert and scored on the rebound. That play gave him the confidence he needed to score the second goal early in the second half.

Pulisic needed just a few minutes to make an impact in the second half

In one of the first plays after the break, Pulisic put a lot of pressure on the opposing team's ball movement, and Fofana took advantage of the rebound to score Milan's second goal, which was already on its way to victory. Just a few minutes later, Christian Pulisic shone again to score the third goal. After breaking through the opponent's first line of pressure, Milan progressed well with the ball in attack and Rabiot found Pulisic in the area to shoot low and make it 3-0.

The visitors managed their lead without any scares, and could even have extended it further. Saelemakers was denied by Sava and Estupiñan fired in a dangerous shot. The fourth goal almost came, but the three points went to Milan. With the victory, the Rossoneri reached 11 points and moved up to third place in the Italian Championship, while the Bianconeri dropped to sixth, with seven points.
