Real Madrid beat Juventus 1–0 at the Santiago Bernabéu and kept their perfect record in the Champions League. It was their third straight win in the league phase, with Bellingham’s goal securing three more points for Xabi Alonso’s team.

Interestingly, Juventus stepped onto the field with a defensive approach, setting up a five-man backline to contain the Spanish attack and look for quick counterattacks. Even so, Real Madrid took control early on, held most of the possession, and created the main chances of the match. Courtois made good saves on Juventus’ few attempts, while the Spanish side kept their balance and dominance until the final whistle.

Constant pressure and patience until halftime

Real Madrid dominated the first half. From an Arda Güler corner, Tchouameni headed firmly and forced Di Gregorio into a great save. Moments later, Brahim struck from outside the box, and the Italian goalkeeper pushed it away again.

The best opportunities came late in the first half, when Mbappé received a pass from Brahim and fired with his left foot inside the box, drawing another sharp save from Di Gregorio. The Frenchman also produced a fine individual play, setting up Militão, who shot over the bar. Juventus tried to respond with long-range efforts from McKennie and Gatti, but Courtois handled them safely.

Bellingham seals it after Vinicius Jr.’s move

Early in the second half, Juventus nearly scored when Vlahovic broke free and went one-on-one with Courtois, who came up with a decisive stop. Shortly after, Real Madrid broke the deadlock. Vinicius Junior made a solo run down the left and fired across goal. The ball hit the post and fell perfectly for Bellingham, who was well-positioned to tap it in. From that moment, the Spanish side managed the advantage with composure.

Mbappé had good chances to extend the lead, but Di Gregorio shined again with two key saves. Brahim also came close to scoring, but Gatti cleared off the line. Juventus tried to push back in the final minutes, but Real Madrid controlled the midfield and held the result until the final whistle.
