Talks surrounding Endrick's possible departure from Real Madrid have intensified in recent hours, with significant progress made by clubs interested in a loan deal. Everything indicated that Stuttgart (3rd place in the current Bundesliga season) was close to a positive outcome behind the scenes, but Lyon has entered the fray and is quite confident that it will be able to count on the Brazilian talent overlooked by Xabi Alonso in this season's squad.

However, for the deal to go through, the Spanish press has reported that Real Madrid is demanding that clubs comply with three necessary requirements: the team that receives Endrick must cover his full salary immediately after signing the contract for the loan to be considered, regardless of the amount.

In addition, a loan fee will have to be paid to Real Madrid, as the club wants financial compensation for loaning out the player. Finally, the team that receives the Brazilian player must offer Endrick a leading role and regular playing time. In other words, the loan must be to a club where he has the opportunity to play frequently and develop, not just as a bench option.

The tactical plan for Lyon to fit Endrick into the starting lineup

Under coach Paulo Fonseca, Lyon predominantly uses a 4-2-3-1 system, with quick transitions and an emphasis on counterattacks and the use of wingers/fullbacks to generate offensive superiority. With George Mikautadze's departure to Villarreal, the club is still looking for a new center forward to give greater power to the offensive system.

Considering the current tactical system, Endrick would play alone in attack or as a "false nine" in some variations, depending on how Fonseca adjusts the tactics. Due to his mobility and finishing, he could work well as the target of Lyon's quick transitions: the wingers/fullbacks gain depth, converting into crosses or quick balls for him to finish.

Finally, Lyon, under Fonseca, values quick transitions and counterattacks, and Endrick can benefit from this by using his speed to exploit the spaces left by the opposing defense. They could even make a concession and start using the Brazilian in a central position in a 4-3-3 formation with two fast wingers on the sides.
