Tottenham are still looking for reinforcements for the 2025/26 season with a view to competing in the UEFA Champions League and with the mission of trying to have a considerably better campaign in the Premier League. However, even with a continental tournament on the horizon, signings aren't always easy for Spurs to come by.

According to the latest reports, Tottenham have shown an interest in signing Antoine Semeyo and the player is interested in the prospect of playing for the London side. However, Bournemouth's asking price has put Tottenham's interest at bay, as well as that of Manchester United, who were showing interest in the deal.

Semeyo has become a key part of Bournemouth's operation under Andoni Iraola, scoring 21 goals in the last two seasons. In 2024/25, he scored 13 goals in 42 games played throughout the season, becoming even more important after Bournemouth lost players in recent days.

Thomas Frank wants new strikers at Chelsea

Thomas Frank took over at Tottenham with the mission of increasing his attacking options even after the signing of Mathys Tel was completed, taking the striker from Bayern Munich on a permanent deal after a period of five months. The player joined Spurs in a €35 million (£29.9 million) deal, plus €10 million (£8.5 million) in possible bonuses.

According to the latest reports, Spurs are trying to convince Bryan Mbuembo to replace Frank at Bentford, but his preference is Manchester United, who have made an official offer of £45 million, plus £10 million in add-ons for the 25-year-old.

Semeyo joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023, signing a new five-year contract with the south coast club in July 2024. It took 125 first team appearances for him to make the move to Bournemouth, as well as loan spells at Bath City, Newport County and Sunderland.
