With all the talk about new MLS expansion teams, one state has yet to enter the conversation – Wisconsin.
You may think the idea is crazy, but a MLS expansion team in Wisconsin makes a lot of sense honestly. The interest in there, and fans are more than willing to welcome another professional franchise to their beloved state.
Minnesota and Michigan continually get brought up as possible landing spots for future MLS clubs, but realistically, bringing a MLS expansion team to Wisconsin should be a thought Don Garber should start to consider – here is why.

Three cities immediately jump off the map when thinking about a potential home for the new MLS expansion club. Green Bay, Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s three largest cities.
A small argument could be made for Appleton, and Wisconsin Dells, but honestly, those cities do not have what it takes to host a professional sports franchise.
