6. Greg Garza Looks Like He’s Been Playing Under Klinsmann For Three Years
Garza is perhaps the only newcomer who is yet to disappoint since his debut for the USMNT. Yes, sometimes he gets caught up field but he’s just a kid. Him and Rubio Rubin both play ahead of their years but at opposite ends of the field. Garza is pacey, smart, composed, and most importantly takes care of the ball. He and Jurgen’s tactics have come together like a glove. He is the natural replacement for the aging Damarcus Beasley, yet he plays like he’s been the left back for Klinsmann since 2011. He and Nguyen are the only positive takeaways from the United States’ performance today. I guess Brad Guzan played well too, but we all knew he could do that already after his games last year versus Costa Rica and Mexico.
