After the USMNT’s loss to Ireland, Mix Diskerud spoke to reporters and admittedly said that he is “holding all options open right now” when asked about a move to MLS per a report on mlssoccer.com. This isn’t the first time Mix Diskerud has been linked with a move to MLS, even as recently as this past summer when he was linked with the Columbus Crew.
This offseason though, Mix Diskerud is out of contract so this will be completely his decision as he fields offers from multiple clubs, MLS and European based. Diskerud will surely be receiving many offers so he should have his pick of teams, and we know that MLS teams will definitely be in the hunt.

He has performed well for Rosenborg and over the past few months, he has impressed in friendlies for the USMNT. He has been learning a bit of a different role with his national team, playing in a more defensive position, more so in the October friendlies than the November ones, but he has shown he can be very valuable in that position.
Diskerud’s versatility in the midfield could be a very valuable asset to many MLS teams, looking for that playmaker to control the center of the pitch. He has that playmaking ability to pick out the right pass and give his strikers the opportunity to score. Mix has also shown his ability to score when needed as well, even scoring what was then an equalizer against Ireland.
So let’s take a look at what some possible landing spots for Mix Diskerud could be this winter.
