How often pundits and even fans love to look at the past for answers when really the past very rarely has any connection to the present. Sure, we all learn from past mistakes and there are even those members of society that love to repeat the same mistakes. These two teams taking the field will be grinding their teeth not looking at 1997, but instead looking at the clock, which will read 8:45 or as the rest of the world will read it 20:45 pm local time February 24, 2015. On paper it’s tit-for-tat and in my previous article we broke each position down including a breakdown of Juve’s Allegri and BVB’s Klopp.
This article won’t be so much of an overview as it is a detailed analysis of the players that will have the biggest impact on the game for factors that go beyond the average understanding. A few names that we all would expect and that’s only fair because they deserve it. There are also a few omissions that will turn some heads, but the goal is to look at a player’s detailed influence.
Without further ado I present to you the Five Key Players to Watch in Juventus vs Dortmund First Leg of the Champions League Round of 16.
