Van Gaal Reconsiders van der Wiel Move
The Daily Mail report Louis Van Gaal has considered a move for PSG full-back Gregory van der Wiel. The 27-year-old is valued at around £7million and he has one year left on contract. Serie A giants Roma have also expressed an interest in Van der Wiel.
A deal is more likely to be done following the news of Dani Alves’ incredible u-turn at Barcelona, as the Brazilian committed his future to the club by signing a new two-year deal on Tuesday. Elsewhere, Robin van Persie says money will be no option to the Red Devils this summer as they look to challenge for the Premier League
He said: ‘United spent £200m on players last year and they are going to spend another £200m this summer so we will have a team that can compete for the title.’
Meanwhile the Daily Express believe Van Gaal has reconsidered a move for Nathaniel Clyne, who is currently a target for Liverpool.

Bilic Given Fund to Bolster Hammers Squad
Guardian Football report that following the appointment of new manager Slaven Bilic, West Ham are set to provide the new man of the helm with funds to bolster the quality and depth of the Hammers squad.
A series of ambitious moves in the transfer market will begin with the possibility of prising the Chelsea forward, Loïc Rémy, from Stamford Bridge. Bilic was confirmed as Sam Allardyce’s successor on Tuesday after signing a three-year contract at Upton Park, where he played for 18 months in the mid-1990s.
The move comes before a critical period in the club’s history given the move to the Olympic Stadium next year. The former Croatia manager left Besiktas after two seasons last month and marked his return to the Premier League by targeting a top-10 finish next year and, potentially, Champions League qualification in the seasons ahead.
Meanwhile the Daily Mail report that West Ham will announce the signing of midfielder Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria for £4.4million on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Upton Park for the past few months but it appears the Hammers have finally got their man.The deal is West Ham’s second bit of business this summer and got fans excited when the club tweeted about a ‘major new signing’.
Derby Move for Ince
Mirror Football report that former Ancelotti backroom staffer Paul Clement is ready to pay Hull City £6million to make Tom Ince his third signing for Derby County.
The former Real Madrid coach has already brought in former England striker Darren Bent and centre-back Alex Pearce on frees from Aston Villa and Reading since taking charge at the iPro Stadium earlier this month.
Ince, 23, was a huge hit with the Rams, scoring 11 goals in 18 games and being voted the Championship side’s Young Player of the Year.

McCarthy Set for Everton Stay
The Liverpool Echo report that despite previous reports, James McCarthy has not told Everton he wishes to leave the club. McCarthy and his representatives are seeking talks with the Everton hierarchy over the player’s current contract.
The midfielder, who signed from Wigan Athletic for £13million in September 2013, has emerged as key figure for the Blues under Roberto Martinez. Several clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, have been linked to McCarthy, with speculation having increased since Everton agreed a deal to sign United’s out-of-contract midfielder Tom Cleverley.
