2. Nelson Valdez

What a stunning shot that Valdez unleashed to give him comrades the lifeline that they needed. If it’s not considered one of the best goals of the tournament it will be an injustice against the football gods. That single goal gave a whole country faith in their team and caused another country to sweat. Nelson Valdez was there when they made history in the 2010 World Cup  and now he provided his country with a precious point from the favorites of the tournament. Keep your eyes on Valdez; I feel he has more surprises to deliver from his feet.
