On Monday night Tottenham played out a very frustrating 1-1 draw at home to West Brom and it all but ended their hopes of the Premier League title. However, it isn’t all doom and gloom because Tottenham will be back again.

If I take you back to August 2015 and Tottenham fans were not feeling very optimistic about the season ahead and a lack of signed players left people predicting another season of transition or failure for Tottenham. An opening day loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford really made the fans want a new striker and holding midfielder. Since then a lot has changed and Tottenham fans have a lot to be excited about.

Since the first game of the season a lot has changed at White Hart Lane and Tottenham have surprised a lot of people. Tottenham have only lost four games all season in the League as they have been battling with Leicester for the title.

Unfortunately too many draws have meant that Leicester have broken away and are now one win away from the Premier League title. Despite Tottenham being at number one for all the stats in the league etc. they are currently second for the one that matters the most. Tottenham have no doubt played the best football this season and they have won over a lot of people but it seems increasingly like it won’t be their year.

However, this will not be the last you see of Tottenham in a Premier League title race. The current squad at Tottenham is one of the youngest in Europe and it is just oozing out with so much potential with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Erik Lamela and that is just naming a few. This will only allow this current Tottenham team to kick on again next season as they have a top class manager and some fantastic players.

The difference between Leicester and Tottenham is the quality and age of the two squads. Leicester have a few old players within their squad and I find it very hard to believe that they will be back again next season, I even reckon they may struggle for a top ten finish. Whereas, Tottenham are young and hungry and I can assure you one thing that Tottenham will be back again to challenge and they will only keep getting better. It is an extremely exciting time for Tottenham fans.

Providing Daniel Levy keeps hold of Pochettino and key players, Tottenham could be a real force in years to come and with the new stadium coming they could find themselves up their amongst the best in Europe if they kick on and don’t make previous mistakes.

You only have to look at the reaction and comments of the players after the final whistle against West Brom to see their passion and commitment to Tottenham, it just shows that they are together and are willing to fight for each other and go again next season. The possibility of Champions League will only benefit them next season as the future of the club will attract big players and result in more title challenges.

If you look at this season and Tottenham have put in a good title challenge whilst being in the dreading Europa League on a Thursday night, so with a fresher team next year in Europe’s elite competition Tottenham could take it to the next level yet again.

Whatever people say about Tottenham they have played some fantastic and attractive football this season and every single Tottenham fan should be proud of whatever they achieve this year because it has been a brilliant season. It leaves me with one more thing to say and that is: It’s just the beginning…

And don’t forget its not over yet!
