1. Can Manchester City snap England’s latest slide in the UCL?

If Manchester City get to the UCL final, they may be favorites to win it all and it will be a victory all of England will celebrate.

More from Champions League

English teams have struggled in years past when it comes to competitions as we have seen both the Champions League and Europa League won by either a Spanish or German team. FC Barcelona were the reining champs of the UCL and Sevilla are back to back winners of the UEL. Now with two English clubs (Man City in the UCL and Liverpool in the UEL) semis, that lack of English presence in Europe’s top tournament of football may come to an end.

They may be the best chance England has next year as well as teams like Tottenham and Arsenal have yet to prove their worth in the competition and nobody knows about Leicester City. The Foxes may have won the Premier League title and have dominated English football, but the Champions League is a totally different monster. If the Foxes want to compete in Europe, they will have to get some more squad depth.

With their spot of European qualification hanging by a thread in the Premier League, Manchester City’s best chance of qualifying for the Champions League is by winning it all.
