Victor Moses Goal – 31st minute (2-0)
Chelsea FC’s second goal came just two minutes later and was started by midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas. He sent a one-time pass to debutant fullback Ola Aina who then released Pedro on the left side of the area who sent a looping cross in. It appeared to be going out of the danger area until Cesar Azpilicueta intervened.
Azpilicueta lunged at the cross and played it back in front of goal where it was coolly slotted in by Victor Moses who marked his first start of the season with a goal. It was his first competitive goal for Chelsea in over three years, having last scored in May 2013 against Basel in the Europa League. The Blues were in cruise control but things changed quickly.
